In April 2020 I bought my first Eurorack module and started my modular synth journey.

Throughout the rest of the year, during the pandemic I regularly experimented with and expanded my setup in the synth shed, and posted random snippets to Instagram.

This album collects recordings of patches I created that year, but did not post to Instagram (Creating a video or photo to go along with a cool instance of synth noise, sometimes, just kills that creative spark).

Evidently, from the dates, it took me a few months to get into the swing of Eurorack. Then by the fourth quarter, more Instagram uploads, the turning weather & my discovery of VCV Rack meant the shed sessions tailed off.

But compiling this album has really reminded me how much I love this type of synth noise creative process... so I have plans for a 2022 retro.
